Groenvlei Lake is located on the Garden Route, halfway between Wilderness and Knysna. This is the only lake which is not part of the Wilderness National Park, but it is still worth a visit. Unlike the surrounding lakes this is the only fresh water lake without an inlet or an outlet. Rainwater and springs maintain the Groenvlei Lake.
