Die Hel Natural Pool is one of the largest natural rock pools in South Africa and is situated within the Groot Winterhoek wilderness area. The pool can be reached when hiking along the Die Hel hiking trail. The pool is approximately 15m wide and due to a natural waterfall that feeds it, the water is clean. A hiking fee has to be paid at the Groot Winterhoek wilderness area offices.
