Big Bay Beach situated next to Blouberg Beach, is a popular swimming, surfing and kite surfing spot in Bloubergstrand, about 25 km north of Cape Town city centre. The beach with nice white sand has an amazing view of Table Mountain and Robben Island. It's best visited on a calm day as the wind can be somewhat unpleasant. Snacks and cool drinks can be bought at the little café behind the lifeguard station.

Directions

Travel north to Blouberg. The beach is just past Blouberg up over a small rise, you must turn left and go towards the parking area.
