This point in the Fernkloof Nature Reserves gives you a beautiful view of Hermanus, a popular holiday town on the south coast of the Western Cape, about 115 km from Cape Town. The charming town offers upmarket shops, great accommodation and endless adventure options. Hermanus is famous for its whales, and claim to be the best land-based whale watching destination in the world. It is home to the world's only Whale Crier, and each September Hermanus hosts the very popular Whale Festival. Grotto Beach is the largest beach in town and has been proclaimed a world heritage site.
