Settlement Wallekraal historical settlement

Wallekraal was an old settlement with a church, school and hotel for the surrounding farms. It became unused in the late 1960's and most of the buildings were demolished. The church and old hotel can still be seen. For more history on this place and the surrounding farms and its people refer to the book by Gert Sarrisam, "Vonke uit die koeroeklip"
