The guest farm dates back to 1817 under the Moodie family and is bordering the Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve. Hunter Lodge is one of the many accommodation options available on the farm. The lodge is a restored and isolated woodcutter's cottage. During the wet season you need a 4x4 to reach it but during the dry season the cottage is reachable by normal sedan vehicle. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering purposes. Guests can order meals in advance from the barnhuis. (Aug-2013).
