Glentana Caravan Park is separated by a sand dune from the sea and has 48 Grassed level sites, 6 persons per site. Half of the sites have shade and are protected from the wind. Two very nice clean ablution blocks. George is only 20 km away, with shops, banks, sports facilities and an outstanding 18-hole golf course.

“We stayed over again at Glentana from 28 Jan to 3 Feb 2011.
The camp is nicely protected against the wind by a dune and numerous shade trees.
Security is good, and the camp is very neat and well kept with well grassed sites. The newest ablution block has classy fittings and is beautifully kept
It does not have a sea view but is close enough to experience the atmosphere.
It is centrally situated to explore the Southern Cape and close enough to Wouters abode, to add a bit of nuisance value (To Wouter, that is).
The rate of R120 for two pensioners, is a bit steep compared to some of the others, but still acceptable.
There is fair MTN reception and a GPRS Vodacom data signal.
We will certainly be visiting there again in the future whilst health permits. Highly recommended.
