Van Puttensvlei used to be a 19th century settlement, which declined with the growth of Lambert's Bay. This beautifully restored grassed camp has nice big campsites with shade on the edge of a river and have good wind protection. There is power points, clean shared ablution blocks with hot water, braai on each site, communal kitchen, washing machine and washing lines.

Visitors can overnight in the campgrounds or in a small cottage. Cell signal not great but okay.
