The Institute for the Blind is a non-profit organisation catering for blind, partially sighted and deaf and blind persons, as well as visually impaired persons with additional disabilities. Visitors can enjoy a tour of the facilities: the Pioneer School, Pioneer Printers and the working and living environment of the blind community at Worcester. The shop in Church Street sells crafts, and has the reception area for the Fossil Trail, Geologic exhibition, Blindiana Museum and the Blind Spot Theatre. (Updated Apr-12).
