Situated on the southern border of the Klein Karoo, the Klipbok Adventure trail explores the wonders of the Langeberg mountain range overlooking the picture-postcard town of Barrydale to the north and the Indian Ocean to the south. Seasoned campaigners will find enough reasons to return to this trail, which explores the wondrous Langeberg Mountains. The route has some very steep sections and, in the rainy season especially, you'll need to keep your wits about you. You'll be swept away by the slow-motion mood of the area, so do yourself a favour and book for the weekend, not just a day. A full-y equipped guesthouse is available for accommodation. Campsite are also available upon request. To add more excitement and adventure, visit quaint Barrydale (Clarke of the Karoo was voted one of the best restaurants in the Garden Route, Overberg and Karoo by Eat Out Magazine). Drive the spectacular Tradouw's Pass, where short trips off the road will lead you to concealed waterfalls, or try the natural springs throughout the area from Montagu to Ladismith.(Information supplied by DriveOut Magazine).
