This 914ha reserve was established in 1967, and features a vlei as its centrepiece and the Atlantic Ocean as its neighbour, creating the marine reserve section. Home to many bird species, and offering whale sightings in season, visitors can also view the flower show special to the Cape West Coast. The reserve is bike friendly.
