Nuweberg eco-trail is a rugged and mountainous trail where caution should be practiced during the wet seasons and the route can be temporarily closed due to bad weather. There are about 1300 mountain fynbos species and 110 species of birds. For accommodation, two huts are found at each of the overnight stops, sleeping up to 24 persons. There are bunk beds and water available. But however, fires and braai's are forbidden at any other place except at the overnight stops.
