Riversdale is nestled along the Garden route, Hessequa region in Western cape province at the foot of the sleeping beauty mountain peak. The town is also named the 'Floral paradise of the Garden Route', because of lots of indigenous flora(fynbos) covering the mountains and the surroundings area. Farming is the backbone of the town with crops like wheat, grain, fruit, cattle and dairy farming practised. The city has its own airfield as well. Fine collection of art works bt South African artists, Khoi San rock paintings and the Old toll house on Garcia pass will ensure a fun filled holiday. (Updated Dec-12).
