Stilbaai is situated along the famous Garden Route within Western Cape province. Known in english as "Still Bay".

The town is also known as 'the bay of the sleeping beauty'. The town is well developed and reachable by road, sea and air, with a small airstrip available, however only for small aircraft and a fishing harbour. All the necessary services, accommodation and restaurants are available for a comfortable stay for visitors in a pollution free & peaceful environment. Situated along the banks of Goukou River estuary where it meets the Indian Ocean on the Southern Cape coast of South Africa, the town is ideal for various watersport activities such as swimming, angling, canoeing, boating and waterskiing to mention but a few.
