Robertson was founded in 1853, named after the Scottish Dutch-Reformed Minister, Dr William Robertson. It is known as the valley of wine and roses, and its award winning wines can provide visitors a real treat. Accommodation ranges from backpackers, to 4 star hotels, guest houses, bed & breakfasts and farm accommodation. While the nature lovers can be spoilt by various activities and attractions like canoeing on the Breed river, hiking, horse riding and wine tasting.
