Rawsonville is located in the Breede River Valley of the Western Cape. It is a small farming and wine growing community located on the most scenic part of the valley. Due to it being located more inland the weather can get very cold in winter and during February and March the temperatures can go up to 38°C or higher. The town is about 90 km east of Cape Town and 15 km west of Worcester.
