Tsauchab River Camp Campsite

The Tsauchab River Camp guest farm offers a unique experience with its exclusive chalets and private camping sites. Situated along the banks of the Tsauchab River, it is surrounded by the impressive Naukluft and Tsaris Mountains. The Tsauchab River, with its majestic wild fig trees and clear springs, serves as a vital water source during floods for Sesriem Canyon and Sossusvlei. This natural phenomenon culminates in a dry lake at the base of the world's highest dunes.

The awe-inspiring sunsets, along with the rich diversity of indigenous wildlife and flora, create lasting memories for visitors.

The camp provides six exclusive camping sites spread along the Tsauchab River, as well as four additional sites nestled under a grove of False Ebony trees at Naukluft View. Each campsite is thoughtfully designed and offers a private tiled bathroom facility with hot-water showers, flush toilets, and a unique tree shower with a view. It is important to note that the campsites do not have electricity, but the reception is available 24/7 to cater to all electrical needs.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the camp offers five different hiking trails ranging from 2.5km to 21km, accommodating groups of all ages. The circled 4x4 trail in the Tsaris Mountains provides an exceptional off-road experience and overlaps with the 21km hiking trail, catering to both experienced and non-experienced 4x4 enthusiasts. Cycling enthusiasts can also enjoy breathtaking cycling tracks. All unguided activities within the property are complimentary for guests to enjoy.
