Parking Sossusvlei (Parking)

This is the parking area if you do not own a 4WD vehicle. At this point is a ticket office to catch a ride on a 4WD vehicle of NWR managing the park. You can however proceed to a parking area by Big Daddy dune etc. if you have a 4WD vehicle. Do not attempt this drive without a 4WD vehicle - you will get stuck!

The cost was NAD170per adult and half price per child for a ride to the dune and Sossusvlei area and back, which is 5km in each direction. (June-2018).
