Sekoma Island is a rich fish paradise where over 70 different fish species can be found. This Island is navigable only by Mokoro except for the Northern point area which has become a Lodge harbour for the guests at the Sekoma Island Lodge. The Island is located in a Malaria prone area and visitors are advised to take prophylactics or mosquito repellent. Temperatures changes from cold to very hot, bring along suitable clothing.
