Salambala Conservancy is one of the well developed conservancy in Namibia and located on the East of the Caprivi region in Namibia. The conservancy was opened in 1995 especially to re-establish the decreasing wildlife population. Some families within the Basubia community had to relocate when the area was zoned exclusively for wildlife and tourism and closed to livestock grazing. Accommodation is available at the conservancy with 4 stands as community campsites. The campsites have clean ablution blocks, clean running water, braai area, a lapa, kitchen and a dining area. Wildlife viewing and game drives are the major activities at the conservancy.
