The large campsite is in the extensive grounds of Chintheche Inn which has ten rooms, all facing directly onto the beach. There is a central dining area and bar, although dinner is usually served out under the stars. A swimming pool is adjacent to the lake. Used by Overlander trucks. Ablutions are centrally located on the campsite. Electricity points available. Campers may make use of facilities and book meals at the lodge. Laundry is done at a minimal fee.

“Excellent large campsite on lush lawns. There are also braai facilities, a thatched bar facility for campers and clean ablutions, a laundry and kitchen area, as well as power points. Campers may make use of activities and book meals at the lodge. They also do laundry for a minimal fee. The policy at the lodge, is that the beach is for enjoyment and trading with local artist on the beach is therefore discouraged.
