The chalets, bar and restaurant are currently under renovations. There is also a cozy, campsite, suitable for caravaners and campers, under big shade trees, directly on the shores of Lake Malawi. The rainy season here is from December to March. Sunga Moyo can be accessed by car or on foot. The main road is tar, and then a 2km gravel road to Sunga Moyo. The nearest airport is in Lilongwe, 6 hours away. Pre-booking at Sunga Moyo is preferred but not essential. Main cell network is Airtel. (May-14).
