Chembe Eagles Nest has a private beach as it is sheltered by rocks on the one side and fenced off on the other side. It has a pristine beach and crystal clear waters. They offer en-suite chalets as well as campsites. Take a boat trip to one of the nearby islands and go snorkel diving. Like all other lodges at Cape McClear, Chembe Eagles Nest is also on the lake shore of the Chembe village and you will inevitably experience Malawi village life. Cape McClear is called Chembe Village by the locals.

Cape Maclear |
Reportedly Cape Maclear's best lodging option. Stunning en-suite lodges. The lodge is at the end of the fishing village and boasts a private beach, and is also less noisy. The restaurant serves fresh fish from the lake. (Jan-13).
Travel Tip!
See the lakes underwater gems, go snorkelling!

“Cape Maclear's best lodging. There are stunning en-suite lodges and a campsite with good ablutions. This lodge is at the end of the fishing village and has a large private beach. The restaurant serves excellent food, especially fish from the lake. Boat trips and snorkelling are on offer to view the lake's under water gems.” -
