Situated just 35km from Maputo, Marracuene Lodge is an ideal stop over while travelling north to Xai Xai, Inhambane and Vilanculos. The guests at the lodge will enjoy a comfortable stay in the chalets, well furnished and equipped with a choice of bigger chalets which have sitting room and a small kitchenette while the small chalets do not have a kitchenette but have coffee/tea making facilities. A donkey boiler provides hot water. A fully stocked bar, a kiosk for basic commodities ad a licenced restaurant will complete a comfortable stay. Pets are only allowed upon prior arrangements.

Directions
Take the EN1 from Maputo to Marracuene village, drive till you reach the Millennium BIM Bank on the main street, drive towards the centre of the village through the small tarred road. Follow the signposted concrete signs indicating the direction to Marracuene Lodge. Please note the lodge is only accessible by 4x4 only. After 1.5 km you cross the railway lines and follow the direction of the power lines heading to the lodge.
