Nampula is the capital city of the Nampula or the Ihla province of Mozambique. This city is known as the commercial centre of Mozambique and is the third largest city in Mozambique after Maputo and Beira.
Nampula is a major, big and bustling town. Travellers will find most things they need in Nampula even if it is not a touristy town, It offers a mixture of modern shops and informal shops and markets. The landscape around town is beautiful, surrounded by big granite rocks.
