MOAMBA TO NAMAACHA:
The road from Moamba to Namaacha has been reported to be in a bad state. (Oct-14).

FROM MOAMBA TO MAGUDE:
September will be sandy, dry and very dusty with some rough corrugated sections. No problem for a proper 4x4. Very little traffic, but local transport trucks and tractors bomb along and can be a real hazard. Quite a lot of cattle can also slow things down. The 110km Moamba to Magude can take 2 hrs, then add perhaps up to an hour to get onto the main road, east, the N1.
