Niassa Special Reserve is situated in northern Mozambique, on the Tanzanian border. It is about twice the size of the Kruger National Park in South Africa and it boasts the largest wildlife population in Mozambique. The Lugenda River forms the southern border of the Reserve and the Ruvuma River the northern border. Tsetse fly do occur in the reserve. (Nov-24)
