Kazungula Road Border Post (Zim) links Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) and Kasane (Botswana). This border is where Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe meet. Situated approximately 70km east of Victoria falls the operating times are 06h00-20h00 (GMT+2) Time Guideline. In 2011 the border post was refurbished as there were reports of increased congestion, since Victoria Falls is a popular tourist town in Zimbabwe and during busy seasons there is a large inflow of visitors. When visiting Zimbabwe all visitors are required to have a valid passport and those travelling with vehicles need to have the original vehicle registration paper, vehicle licence, if driving someone else vehicle, an affidavit signed by the owner authorising the person with the vehicle to use it and third party insurance. Payments are often made for road access fee based on the vehicle size and carbon tax fee.
KAZA visa available for USD50 cash as there are no ATMs but the KAZA Visa is valid only for entry in the Vic Falls area. Any other border post you need to pay again.
