The Mankwe Overlanding Campsite is for self-driving campers. The sites are not fenced, allowing wildlife, including big game, to wander freely through the area. Each site can accommodate 6-8 campers in 3 or 4 vehicles. The sites do not have electricity and have bucket showers, flush toilets and wash basins. Firewood is provided for the first night for heating water for showering and further wood can then be purchased from the lodge. Water is provided for showering, but this water is not drinkable, so campers need to supply their own drinking water. Wi-Fi is only available at the main lodge and all roads in the area require 4WD.
