A very small rustic tented camp in the Okavango delta. Umvuvu Camp is situated on the bottom end of the panhandle on Gau island. It is a self catered camp with facilities. They offer camping sites or you can stay in one of their tents with a bed and bedding provided. You can also camp in the bush for up to 4 nights, with a professional guide. Guest can self drive to a parking area and from there they will transport people the 800m by boat to the island no fee is charged for this, just for night watchman at the car park if needed. Traditional meals and cultural dance are arranged on the time of booking only for an extra fee.
