Situated in Amathole District Municipality, Eastern cape Province of South Africa, Peddie has a typical Eastern Cape rural economy. This town stretches along the N2 between national road Grahamstown and King Williams Town. The other side of the town comprises of old buildings and then the other side have the new RDP houses which are developing to form a new urban area, where there is a town hall, municipal building and a craft centre.
