Uvongo is located to the south of Port Shepstone at the mouth of the Vungu River in KwaZulu-Natal. It is a lively holiday town that has a lot to offer the traveller. The beach at Uvongo is beautiful with canoes on the lagoon and waves crashing into the tidal pool. It is the largest residential area on the lower South Coast. Due to building restrictions it has kept its village-like charm.
