Dutywa (Idutywa) is a small town within the Mbhashe Municipality, Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. The town is the birthplace of one of South Africa former President Thabo Mbeki.This town is one of South Africa rural towns with low density rural settlements surrounded by communal areas used for agriculture and grazing. Public transport consists of buses, taxis and a network of bakkies though the roads are still underdeveloped with a few tarred the rest are gravel roads.
