Lusikisiki is situated within the Ngquza Hill Local Municipality, Eastern Cape province of South Africa. The name of the town was derived from the sound of the wind moving through the grass. The town is situated on route 61, just inland from Port St Johns and Mbotyi. It was proclaimed a village in 1932 and continued to develop to become a town.
