Margate is undoubtedly the holiday centre of the south coast. It is a vibrant, colourful town, renowned for its exciting nightlife and set around the most spectacular beaches on the coast. It has something for everybody. It has a wide golden beach with brilliant waves for swimmers and surfers. It is within walking distance of the bustling CBD, restaurants, coffee shops and night clubs. The newly rebuilt pier is a popular fishing mecca for locals and tourists alike, and in season it is a buzzing hive of activity.
