Cebe is a quiet, traditional Xhosa village and mission settlement in the Mbhashe Local Municipality of the Eastern Cape, South Africa, set amid rolling dunes, white-sand beaches, and coastal forests just outside Centane and near Mazeppa Bay. Life here moves gently—linked tightly to ancestral traditions. Cebe village does not have a dedicated general dealer. Visitors should stock up on supplies in Centane, about 25–30 km away, where shops like SPAR and TOPS at SPAR offer groceries and essentials. Basic services may be available at the Cebe Rest Camp, but it’s best to come prepared.
