Ballito once a small holiday town located in Kwa-Zulu Natal, has grown into a suburban paradise. It draws many young couples and families to start their new life here. It is situated roughly 40 kilometres north of Durban. It is part of the KwaDukuza local Municipality, and is in the iLembe District Municipality. The North Coast shoreline is known for the Dolphins which are common on this stretch, hence the nickname Dolphin Coast.
