Chintsa East and Chintsa West are two separate towns, so to speak, on either side of the Cintsa River mouth. Both are mainly holiday towns with a golden beach that stretches literally for miles and miles. Fishing is definitely very popular at Chintsa.
Chintsa West is a small holiday settlement on the western slope of the Cintsa River mouth. It consists of a few resorts and campsites, a restaurant/pub and a little convenience store.

FUEL:
There is no petrol Station in Cinsta West, there is however a single pump; one for unleaded and another for diesel in Cinsta East, otherwise the nearest town would be Gonubie. (May-15).
MONEY:
There is no bank or ATMs in Cinsta West, the nearest ATM is the ABSA one in Cinsta East in a small shop, bring own cash if you are not for ABSA bank as you will be charged extra fee as well.(May-15).
POLICE:
The nearest police station is the one in Gonubie, Tel +27(0)43 740 4040. (May-15).
TRANSPORT:
Reachable by road or micro air flight.
OTHER FACILITIES:
There is no hospital here. For health care, shopping, car repairs visit the nearest town of East London. (May-15).
