Situated within the Oribi Gorge Nature reserve, the camel rock viewpoint along the Camel Trail are easy and approximately 1km walks along the sheer edge of the gorge. The name 'Camel Rock' was derived from the shape of the rock shaped like a camel head. This makes an excellent vantage point over the Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve. For more information visitors can contact the main office of the Oribi nature reserve.
