Pistols Saloon Bar and Museum in Old Main Road, Ramsgate, is a place that should not be missed. There is a Wild West Museum next door to the bar, with ample information and memorabilia of the American cowboy era. A donkey named Hucklebury comes in regularly for a drink (Coca Cola) and is very popular amongst patrons. There are ample things to keep the kiddies occupied.

Directions

Take the N2 South from Durban. After 140 km, just past the Oribi Toll Gate (Toll fee R18 as at 28 June 2010), Continue with the R61 for another 30 Km and take the Offramp to Ramsgate. After 3km turn right at the T-junction into R620. Another 5 km along this road takes you to Pistol Saloon. Tarred all the way.
