This is the Bakkrans Cave Campsite in the Baviaanskloof!
This cave has been kitted out as an unusual camping site. The site is equipped with gas and paraffin lamps, built- in braai, hot and cold shower and flush toilet, mattresses, cooking utensils and it can accommodate up to 15 people. All that you need to bring along are food, clothes and sleeping bags. Breakfast and dinner can also be supplied on request. Bakkrans is a unique base for hiking, bird viewing, climbing, game viewing and looking at rock art at any time of the year. If you are lucky, you may even spot a rare and protected Cape Leopard whose territory lies in and around Bakkrans. At Kleinpoort less than a kilometre away you will find petrol, diesel, ice, a liquor store and a general dealer stocking all necessities. Bakkrans also offers trophy hunting in season.
