Giant's Castle Game Reserve was proclaimed in 1903, originally only 7000ha, and today is 34 638ha in extent, situated in the Central Berg Region of the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park. Originally meant as a home for the dwindling numbers in eland. (Updated Mar-13).
