Directions from Durban : Take the N3 towards Pietermaritzburg. Take the Umlaas Rd / Thornville / Richmond off ramp. When you get to the T junction, turn left onto the R56 towards Richmond. Travel 20 kms and take the Richmond turn on your left. At the T junction, turn right and cross over the R56 into Shepstone Street. Drive directly through Richmond along Shepstone Street. At the bottom-end of Shepstone Street cross the little bridge. 800m later turn left onto the Hella Hella road. Continue along the tar for 15km until it becomes a gravel district road. Travel a further 9 km until you reach the Highover entrance on your left - just before the Mkomazi River!
