We have accommodation, ranging from highly affordable backpacker rooms to luxurious four star ones, and guests are more than welcome to visit our next-door bar and restaurant, Waves. DSTV is available in all rooms but the backpacker ones, and we offer free WIFI to all our customers. We accept all major credit cards. Aliwal Shoal Scubaproximity to the world-famous Aliwal Shoal, which lies just 4km directly offshore means that we can offer diving of the very highest calibre. We offer reef and baited dives, the latter of which allows you the opportunity to encounter the sharks for which South Africa is famous. It is the oldest PADI dive centre in South Africa, and holds a five star Gold Palm resort certification.

Directions

From Durban; Take the N2 south. Once your get to the Umgababa off ramp turn left. You will get to a T junction with a stop. Turn right onto the R102. Keep going south. You will pass Ilovo beach then the Caredene hotel on your left. Carry on till your pass our building on your left. We are the only building on the beachfront of Umkomaas.
