The ferry is an old fashioned pontoon ferry which transports visitors and their cars across the Kei River. The costs are approximately R80 per motor vehicle. You don't have to book in advance, you can just arrive and await your turn in the queue.

It ferries 2 cars at a time, saving you approx 150 km round trip.
