“We Booked two camping stands at Maak n Jol Sodwana for two weeks in December 2014 from the 22 Dec - 3 Jan when we arrived they first wanted us to camp at n parking spot cause apparently they were overbooked. Eventually they gave us another stand located at the bottom of the camping area, we stayed there for two nights and then the french drain stared overflowing and they had to come and pump it out on a daily basis. The smell was hideous and we complained several times eventually they wanted us to pack up the three tents and 4x4 Camping Trailer (by the way takes half a day to erect and half a day to dismantle) we ended up leaving two days earlier than what we booked for cause it was unbearable staying there. When we asked for the last two days money back the Owner said that he wont because its not his problem that we wanted to leave earlier. I will never stay at Maak n Jol in Sodwana again due to their unprofessional service.” - Luttig Cronje, 2015/01/06
