Encompassing the Umzimkulwana River which forms the scenic gorge, Oribi offers visitors the opportunity to hike, do sight-seeing, bird watching, picnic in this beautiful area as well as view some game. It was proclaimed a reserve on 1 April 1950 and its size is 1 917 ha.
