South Africa's first World Heritage Site, the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park is home to Sodwana Bay, right on the coast of the Indian Ocean. Water Sports are very popular here, including fishing, scuba and snorkelling, offering visitors a view of Africa's most southern coral reefs.

Campsites are situated about 3km from the sea. This area is very focused on deep sea fishing, scuba diving and snorkelling.
