Bakgatla Resort is situated in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve close to Sun City. Apart from Chalets and Executive Safari Tented accommodation, the resort also has a caravan park and campsite. In the caravan park, all sites have electricity points, but in the campsite it is essential to request a site with electricity. The sites have centrally situated ablution facilities as well as access to the pool, restaurant and other on-site facilities. Bakgatla Cultural Resort has up to 123 stands for caravan and two open areas but these have no electricity. The resort has a swimming pool, trees and braai's at each site. The children can enjoy swings, walking trails, green lawns, outdoor chess and trampoline. Beside the activities at the resort, it is also located near the Pilanesberg National Park where the campers can enjoy sightseeing and watching the wildlife especially, the big five. A huge campsite next to Bakgatla gate with pensioner's discount.
