Bronkhorstspruit Dam lies 50km south-east of Pretoria and 10 km south-west of Bronkhorstspruit in the Gauteng Province of South Africa. (Bronkhors is the Afrikaans for 'watercress') With a capacity of 57.4 million cubic metres it is the biggest dam in Gauteng.

Directions

Take the N4 from Pretoria. Turn off at Bronkhorstspruit onto the R42 to Delmas. Follow the Delmas road. The dam is a few kilometres further on the right. The entrance is at the Bona Manzi Holiday Resort. >From Johannesburg take the N12 to Witbank. Turn off 6km north of Delmas onto the R42 to Bronkhorstspruit. Turn off into the Kungwini Holiday Resort at the dam (The old Bronkhorstbaai). Bronkhorstspruit dam is situated about 60km east of Pretoria.
